FlashSpec is a innovative anthology series, showcasing short, speculative fiction from around the world.

With flash fiction, in many cases less can be more, and that is certainly its challenge. Stories that say the most with the least amount of words, especially those with an unexpected conclusion, are the essence of the FlashSpec project.

With two volumes published to date, the collections have been edited by Western Australian author Neil Cladingboel, and published through Equilibrium Books in softcover editions.

The much anticipated Volume One was released in July 2006. Volume Two submissions closed on 31st May 2007 and the book was officially released on July 2nd, 2007.

Both volumes are available for purchase through Equilibrium Books.
